The New CableTool model 50 from Psiber Data Systems provides contractors, electricians, low voltage installers, or anyone involved in the installation or maintenance of metallic cables with the capability to quickly find faults in cables up to a distance of 2500 feet. Simply select the appropriate cable type from the pre-stored library, attach the leads to two conductors of the cable and with a single press of a button the length of the cable or distance to an open or short is displayed. Voltage on the wires is continuously measured and displayed to warn of a potentially unsafe condition. The CableTool will also inject a tone onto the conductor for tracing cables installed in walls and ceilings with a standard tone probe. The universal banana jack test lead connectors allow for a wide range of adapters for any connector type. The affordable CableTool is an essential tool for anyone in the cabling industry.

PINPOINT CABLE DAMAGE
Cables can be damaged during and after installation. Typically the damaged section is hidden from view behind walls, above ceilings or buried underground. The CABLE TOOL uses TDR (Time Domain Reflectometry) technology to quickly identify an open or a short and provide the distance to the problem location. Additionally, the tone generator feature works with standard tone probes so that the exact cable path can be traced.
MEASURE CABLE LENGTH ON A SPOOL OR INSTALLED
The CABLETOOL makes it easy for installers to know the amount of cable remaining on a spool or in a box before pulling a run. When multiple runs are being installed in the same area, the first run can be measured to accurately determine the total amount of cable required to complete the job. Checking cable inventory prior to starting a job eliminates unplanned trips to buy more cable.
EASY TO USE
The CABLETOOL is simple to operate. After turning the unit on, a cable can be measured or toned with a single push of a button. The full graphics display provides all the cable management information together on one screen. The built-in library of over sixty cable types makes finding the correct cable information easy. The standard banana jack connectors means that different test leads and adapters are available from many vendors.

NAN004 Cable Expert(Model No.: CE-1000)
NanoTronix Cable Expert™ (Model No.: CE-1000) is the all-in-one and easy-to-use network qualification unit measuring logical network performance and physical condition of network cables. It allows network engineers to install and maintain efficiently local area networks (LAN) with 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX based on the Ethernet protocol.
For measuring logical network performance, it provides the round-trip time (RTT) testing to measure network speed under dynamic and static configuration protocol and the IP scanning to show the information on all the terminals connected into the local network. It can also evaluate the capability of link partners such as supported network speed (10BASE-T or 100BASE-TX) and duplexity (half- or full- duplex).
The device provides the physical information of the LAN cable under test such as cable length, faulty positions (open or short) and wire map (open, short, split, crossed and reversed). In particular, with the novel high-resolution graphic TDR (Time-Domain Reflectometer) and TDX (Time-Domain Crosstalk), it is possible for the users to locate faulty positions along the cable up to 500 meters. These TDR and TDX can also be utilized to any type of cables such as Coaxial cables for cable TV and HFC networks and Telephony cables.
In addition, Cable Expert™ presents tone generating function used to identify cable connection and to trace cable in the walls, floors and ceilings, and continuity testing function to check out continuity of cable.
With the graphic user interface supplied by 128x64 LCD and serial communication port, field engineers can easily apply the device to network testing, transfer the stored data to their PCs and print reports with optional thermal printers. Cable Expert™ has is housed in a rugged ABS enclosure and powered by Li-Ion chargeable battery with 6-hour battery life.

This cable fault locator is applicable for any cable consisting of at least double insulated metallic elements like a coaxial cable at and a low cost.

NanoTronix Numeric Cable Fault Locator (Model No.:mTDR-010) is the most suitable and low-price instrument for locating a fault such as open and short position in metallic telecom cables. It is unique in its class which utilizes TDR (Time Domain Reflectometry) technology giving users accurate information of the faults based on a specific cables' VOP(Velocity Of Propagation).
The instrument of this cable fault locator is applicable for any cable consisting of at least paired (shielded or twisted) metallic conductors, such as coaxial cables and telephone cables at low cost. It has an automatic internal impedance matching network to allow testing of 25Ω, 50Ω, 75Ω, 100Ω, 125Ω and 150Ω cables.
The Numeric Cable Fault Locator is housed in a rugged ABS enclosure which is dust and weatherproof to IP 42. The instrument of this cable fault locator also comes with a soft carrying case and alligator clip adapter. It is powered by four AA (NEDA 15A or LR6) batteries, which are stored in a compartment on its back.
